Northern Oklahoma College launches 45 73K: The Campaign for the Future

$45 million goal announced at President’s Annual State of the College Address

Campaign is the most ambitious in NOC’s 114-year history

Tonkawa, Okla. – Northern Oklahoma College President Dr. Clark Harris today announced the launch of 45 73K: The Campaign for the Future, the most ambitious fundraising campaign in the 114-year history of the institution.

The campaign has a fundraising goal of $45 million and will support three major areas: student scholarships, faculty and staff development, and capital improvements to NOC’s campuses in Tonkawa, Enid and Stillwater.

“This campaign is about investing in the future of Northern Oklahoma College and the communities we serve,” said Dr. Harris. “By providing more scholarships, supporting our faculty and staff, and making much-needed improvements to our campuses, we can ensure that NOC continues to be a transformative force in the lives of our students for generations to come.”

The campaign has already received significant support from donors, including a $1 million lead gift from the W.W. Hastings Foundation. The Hastings Foundation has a long history of supporting NOC, and its gift will be used to establish the W.W. Hastings Endowed Scholarship Fund, which will provide scholarships to NOC students from Kay, Noble and Garfield counties.

“We are proud to support Northern Oklahoma College and its mission of providing affordable, accessible and quality education to the people of northern Oklahoma,” said W.W. Hastings Foundation President and CEO Shane Faulkner. “We believe that this campaign will help NOC continue to be a vital asset to our communities for years to come.”
