Turner to Join Toronto Blue Jays Broadcast Team in 2025

Toronto, ON – May 26, 2024 – Veteran third baseman Justin Turner has announced his retirement from Major League Baseball. The 39-year-old spent 16 seasons in the majors with the Mets, Dodgers, and Blue Jays. Turner ends his career with a .284 batting average, 152 home runs, and 641 RBIs.

Turner was a key member of the Dodgers' 2020 World Series championship team. He also played a significant role in the Blue Jays' run to the ALCS in 2023. Turner is known for his steady presence at the plate and his leadership in the clubhouse.

After retiring, Turner will join the Toronto Blue Jays broadcast team in 2025. He will provide commentary alongside play-by-play announcer Buck Martinez.
