Toronto, ON – May 26, 2024 – Veteran third baseman Justin Turner has announced his retirement from Major League Baseball. The 39-year-old spent 16 seasons in the majors with the Mets, Dodgers, and Blue Jays. Turner ends his career with a .284 batting average, 152 home runs, and 641 RBIs.
Turner was a key member of the Dodgers' 2020 World Series championship team. He also played a significant role in the Blue Jays' run to the ALCS in 2023. Turner is known for his steady presence at the plate and his leadership in the clubhouse.
